Dr. Simon Raskin enjoys working with patients of all ages on a multitude of foot and ankle conditions. He is widely recognized as an expert on wound care, trauma, and diabetic foot care. A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Raskin earned his doctors degree from New York school of Podiatric Medicine. He then went to a 3 year rigorous residency training in Foot and Ankle Surgery and was nominated a Chief Podiatric Resident at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Aside from being a successful private practitioner, Dr. Raskin devoted many years of work as a hospital based attending physician and member of Podiatric Surgircal residency staff where he trained numerous Podiatric residents in clinical and surgical settings. Dr. Raskin actively participates in local non-profit community programs as well as international medical missions. Sports, travel, reading, and family are his favorite hobbies.
Dr. Kathy Grossos graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College at Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She then went on to complete her doctorate degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Following her education, she then completed a foot and ankle certification at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Grossos then completed two year long wound care fellowships at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and at Coney Island Hospital where she handled challenging diabetic woundsand performed limb salvage procedures. Dr. Kathy Grossos is a fellowship trained, board certified podiatrist with interests in wound care and sports medicine. Dr. Grossos treats a variety of foot and ankle disorders including injuries, heel pain, toenail disorders, fractures, wounds and dermatologic lesions. Dr. Grossosis dedicated to treating her patients with a kind and friendly demeanor. She will always take the time to explain everything in a simple way and provide multiple options for treatment. Dr. Grossos' bedside manner can make even the most anxious patient feel at ease.
Dr. Edner Registre is a podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Registre has a special interest in diabetic foot surgery. He joined the profession largely because diabetes is a major public health issue that terribly affects the lower extremity.
Dr. Registre received his residency training at New York Community Hospital where he served the chief resident in his 3rd year. He earned his Podiatric Nedical degree from, The New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he held membership in the Sports medicine and Surgery Clubs.
Dr. Registre is an active member of the community. He is an avid fitness enthusiast and as such has a keen interest in sports medicine of the foot and ankle. He is an active member at risk youth. He actively anticipates in community health fairs as well as volunteers his services at community events around the city. Dr. Registre is your Community Podiatrist.
Dr. Mark Berkovic attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate in podiatric medicine. He conducts consultations at Foot Doctors NYC in Brooklyn, NY. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Berkovic completed his residency in podiatry as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle at the St. John's Episcopal Hospital. He is well versed in English, Yiddish, and Hebrew, which makes him culturally attuned to patients from various backgrounds, who enjoy having him as their physician. He is skilled in his medical domain and welcomes patients for the treatment of a range of common and specialized conditions such as psoriasis, pediatric foot deformation, hammertoes, diabetic foot, and gout.
Dr. Berkovic takes a genuine interest in updating himself on various new advancements in medicine so that his patients get the best and the most advanced treatment possible. He strives to make each patient’s visit a pleasant and pain-free experience.
